Solar Electric Car hit 1000km in 1 Charge

An Australian-made electric vehicle (EV) has achieved a record-breaking distance on a single charge, driving more than 1,000 km on a single charge. The EV, called the “Sunswift eVe,” was developed by a team of students at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and is powered by solar panels on its roof.

The Sunswift eVe is the first EV in the world to exceed 1,000 km on a single charge, according to the team at UNSW. The record-breaking drive took place over two days and was overseen by the Australian Automobile Association (AAA).
